POWERSTEP has become a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the ENERWATER project. Project coordinators have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalise their commitment.

POWERSTEP and ENERWATER are both Horizon2020 projects that deal with the energy-positive Wastewater treatment sector. They both aim to demonstrate and sustain the concept of energy-positive Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs).

Hence, this strategic collaboration will help to further share expertise, pool experiences and encourage synergies and common actions.

The objective of ENERWATER project is to develop, validate and disseminate an innovative standard methodology for continuously assessing, labelling and improving the overall energy performance of Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs).
